Cybersecurity education and training are meanwhile understood as essential to overcome the lack of awareness and skills as one of the primary reasons for the critical state of cybersecurity. Hence organisations like the EU Cyber Skills Academy and other initiatives like the ENISA European Cybersecurity Skills Framework (ECSF) have been launched to improve the situation.
Meanwhile CyberSecPro (www.cybersecpro-project.eu) as a project in the Digital Europe Programme aiming for a skilled workforce has prepared its first results for discussion.
