The CyberSecPro project successfully hosted its final summit event on 21 January 2026 at the Auditório Agostinho Silva, Universidade Lusófona in Lisbon. The event brought together cybersecurity experts, investors, policymakers, and entrepreneurs for engaging discussions on cybersecurity, digital skills, innovation, and entrepreneurship.
The event opened with a keynote by Brendan Rowan, Managing Consultant at BluSpecs, titled "Advanced Digital Skills, the Current State of Play & the Role of Cyber," which set the stage for insightful discussions on how cybersecurity and advanced digital capabilities are becoming foundational to modern entrepreneurship.
Filipa Leal da Costa, Investment Associate at ActiveCap - Capital Partners, SCR, S.A., shared the venture capital perspective on cybersecurity startups—from identifying high-potential innovations to supporting founders as they scale in a highly complex and fast-evolving market. A valuable look at how investors spot the next breakthrough in cybersecurity.
